Artist Flora Citroën and the curator Flora Fettah are pleased to invite you to discover their first collaborative project, Ever Since I Was Young, a project that runs from December 3 to 9, 2018 by appointment.

The opening will take place on Monday, December 3, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, in the artist's studio, 2 rue Saint-Nicolas, 75012 Paris.

«Flora Citroën talks about identity. Here, before, all the time, and with a big "I". Hers, ours, as a young artist ( and as a woman. How is it built, what are its limits and its porosity? and, in addition, who has the right to define one and how? What is the proportion of power at stake behind possessing knowledge? From a young artist to a young curator, from a homonym to another, these questions echo my own interrogations and, perhaps, the anxieties of a generation forced to adapt constantly ... Today, in its study, Flora Citroën invites us to discover his most recent pieces. Through them, once again, he questions the need for a broader discourse on the idea of the "I" to legitimize our activities and vocations. Using the song "Ever since I was young, I ..." she questions her self-realized power.
